Turn your ideas into reality!

2023, January 16 - 13:00
Have you come up with something new? The University of Debrecen will continue to support innovative ideas with training in 2023.

In December, Hungarian and foreign students received the certificates of the stUDinnovate Innovation Scholarship Programme: they have also worked on biodegradable packaging, improving the efficiency of mentor search and a clean-source nutritional supplement, among others. They received several months of help from university and market experts to develop their ideas and gain the skills they need to get to market.

"I looked at the use of green waste - as a by-product - as a growing medium, reviewing the challenges both in practice and in business. The scholarship programme helped me to evaluate my idea from a new perspective," said Gábor Csatári, a PhD student at the Faculty of Agricultural, Food Sciences and Environmental Management of the University of Debrecen, who encourages everyone to apply for the stUDinnovate Innovation Scholarship Programme to gain new experience.

For the fourth time, the University of Debrecen is offering students an excellent opportunity to take part in a training series in the spring semester with their novel ideas, without any regional constraints, to review, fine-tune or, if necessary, revise their plans from a business perspective, while strengthening their innovation mindset and developing their entrepreneurial skills.

And a monthly grant of 100,000 forints can provide the background to create the necessary conditions for taking the idea forward.

The programme is open to students of the University of Debrecen from 23 January to 24 February 2023, subject to four completed semesters (or earlier graduation) and active student status, and of course the idea that will turn the world upside down.

Applications must be submitted in English, and stUDinnovate's programmes are also organised in English. The detailed information on the scholarship programme is available here.

The application form is available here.
