What is protected by copyright?
Intellectual creations are protected by copyright. Copyright can apply to a wide range of creative or artistic works in the field of literature, science or art, written or captured in a unique form or manner. These can include literary work, public speech, software, drama, musical, film, creation of photographical art, map art, creation of architecture, arts and crafts, scientific article, etc. Copyright law includes the most common types of artistic creations, the specification is not of taxative nature. Copyright applies to all original creations originating from intellectual activity of the author.
What should we know about license agreements?
The basic aim and designation of license agreements is the authorized to allow the commercialization of his creation, or performance in return to defined remuneration. Property rights can not be transferred, hence economic or any other commercialization of the creation is possible via lincencing agreement.
